Unique & effective
Chrysalis Society Approach
Our homes are located in quiet residential neighbourhoods of Vancouver and are strategically designed to provide trauma-informed environments that promote a culture of safety, empowerment and healing. Each home has a garden space and areas for meditation, and fitness. We strive to make New Dawn, New Day and New Way truly 'home-like' and welcoming.
Our Process

NEW DAWN
A government-licensed, first-stage program for women in early recovery. Women require 72 hours of abstinence for entry into New Dawn. Once there, women are supported through their post acute withdrawal while transitioning into a stable routine that includes:
Daily process and education groups
Weekly sessions with an Alcohol and Drug Counsellor
Household contributions and meal preparation
Weekly yoga and creative process groups
Regular attendance at community self help meetings
Introduction to the Women’s Way Through the 12 Steps
Any other activities related to the self-identified goals within her/their personal recovery plan
