New Dawn gave me a safe and gentle home when I felt defeated and could not love myself. It gave me hope when I had none, encouragement, and the belief that I too could recover no matter how deep I had fallen. I was welcomed with open arms and listened to without being judged. I look forward to giving back the messages of hope, love and faith that we can recover.

When I made the decision to ask for help, Chrysalis Society took me in. They gave me a home and cared for me. They believed in me. They gave me the tools to start building a new life for myself.

Entering New Dawn was the beginning of my journey out of the loneliness, pain and isolation of addiction. I resided as a client within Chrysalis Society for 17 months. In that 17 months I learned how to live with other women, how to talk about my feelings all within an environment where I was supported immensely by caring staff.

Since starting this program I have grown so much as a person. I've grown in ways I honestly didn't think would be possible. The things I have learnt while living here are life changing for me. The staff and programming here have been an anchor in my recovery. I feel so blessed and privileged to have them be a part of my journey. Thank you so much for always making me feel safe, supported and heard.
